The Magnificent and the Exceptional is a western tribute that is about the ability to rise from anything and a question of divine intervention. I have based my designs in 1849 in the height of the American Gold Rush and the Wild West age of lawlessness. However, since the story and cinematography has a modern quality, we decided some anachronisms were acceptable. Classic silhouettes aid in distinguishing status and create intrigue by concealing and revealing the form. An earth toned color palette helped to unify the design and keep the air of mystery.
