Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare may very well be the most well known tragedy. This is not just a story of two ill-fated lovers, but of two families torn by bitterness and anger, and a young woman finding her voice in the midst of turmoil.

The costume design was formed from a meeting of Medieval Gothic styles, and modern lines. The Capulets are clean and traditional with bold colors and gold tones, while the Montagues are flowy and organic. Their colors are earthy with floral and geometric patterns. The hair and makeup follows this inspiration and works with each actors costumes to further their identity in the world of this story.
