The Conceptual Design Series: The Tempest

COSTUME DESIGNER

This project was created by five design students at The University of Texas at Arlington. We were given a script and challenged to design three finished photographs. As a group we decided the theme, time period, characters, setting, and art style of the series. Our theme was “Manipulation of Morality” which was showcased by a tarot card style with the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood inspiration. Below you can see my creative process for designing the costumes, specifically for The Lovers card.
